While we understand that situations come up and emergencies happen, we do not double-book the schedule and late cancellations and missed appointments greatly impact our business. Thank you for understanding.
ABWC is a private provider of health services. Treatment is provided via prearranged, scheduled appointments.
Practitioners have limited availability for contact outside of schedule appointments. Practitioners may not have an opportunity to respond to between session contact prior to your next appointment so this should not be relied upon for emergency matters. For emergency matters please contact the appropriate agencies.
ABWC practitioners will only provide services that are within their professional capabilities, competence and role as a private provider of these services. If treatment needs are identified that are outside of this scope your practitioner will endeavour to assist you identify alternative suitable providers.
ABWC is not an emergency service. We are not able to respond to urgent or emergency matters and our communication channels (Phone, WhatsApp, Email) are not monitored outside of standard business hours.
We understand that sometimes time gets the best of us and changes in our schedule happen. To maximize your time with your acupuncturist, we recommend arriving 10 minutes early to your scheduled appointment, however we do give you a 5 minute grace period to check in, without penalty.
Running Late: Depending on what the focus of your session is, if you are more than 5 minutes late your acupuncturist may recommend rescheduling to maximize your treatment time. Arrivals 10 minutes or more after your appointment time, unfortunately, can’t be accommodated. You can reschedule your appointment within 7 days without penalty.
No Show: No show appointments will be charged the full service fee.
Cancellation: Appointments cancelled or rescheduled prior to 24 hours of the scheduled time may be done so without penalty. Appointments cancelled within 24 hours of their scheduled time will have a penalty of the full cost of the service. Appointments scheduled less than 24 hours in advance cannot be cancelled.
To ensure a smooth and reliable appointment experience, we kindly require a 50% deposit to secure your home visit booking.
Buying a treatment package will save you money and help to maintain continued treatments.
All treatment package sales are final and each package has a validation period, depending on the number of sessions in the package:
<5 sessions: 30 days
>5 sessions: 60 days
If you miss or cancel an appointment less than 24 hours’ before the session, you will not be refunded for the missed session.
While we make every effort to make our customers as happy as possible, all service sales are final. We are a small business and unfortunately cannot offer refunds on any used or unused appointments/sessions for individual services or service packages.
